R. PRESLEY STEPHENS "A Piece of My Heart" Screenwriter/Executive Producer Liberty Lane Productions Managing Member R. Presley Stephens, a University of Florida College of Journalism graduate with a business administration minor, is a TV station research director and was also its film critic for 7 years and has also worked at various times in the movie theater business for over 10 years. He has completed more than a dozen feature-length screenplays since college, several of which have been honored multiple times by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences Nicholl screenplay contest and Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope contest, and in 2003, his short screenplay You've Got Hell placed second in the North Carolina Film Festival screenplay contest. STEPHEN MCKENDREE "A Piece of My Heart" Director/Editor/Cinematographer/Executive Producer Stephen McKendree is a graduate of the International Academy of Design & Technology in Tampa who has worked as a freelance cinematographer, editor and director on numerous music video, local commercial, wedding video and documentary productions and also worked for several years at the Sarasota Education Channel. He's performed camera and grip work on such Bay area projects as Ghosts of Ybor, Experiment 7 and Hallows Point, and previously wrote and directed a significant short horror film titled Pelvic Eater. McKendree won the 2009 Motion Film Festival Awards for Best Director and Best Effects and the 2009 Long Island International Film Expo Short Film Cinematography Award for his work on the A Piece of My Heart short. MATTHEW FISH "A Piece of My Heart" Producer Matthew Fish was a production assistant in Los Angeles for several years before returning to Florida, working on such films as Harsh Times & The Groomsmen. He's also worked on several Bay area short film projects. CHRIS RISH "A Piece of My Heart" Producer/Cinematographer Chris Rish is a cinematography instructor at the International Academy of Design & Technology in Tampa. He's worked on many Florida film projects as everything from a producer to cinematographer to steadicam operator to onscreen talent and has several official Internet Movie Database entries. He was a strong creative force behind Ghosts of Ybor, Experiment 7 and Tampa Theater's Tampa Tribune theater policy trailer. He shared the LIIFE Short Film Cinematography Award. KELLY MIKES "A Piece of My Hearts" Associate Producer/Costume Designer Kelly Mikes has worked in TV & radio advertising sales for 20 years, creating advertising and promotional campaigns for hundreds of clients. JOSHUA MARTIN Liberty Lane Productions co-founder Joshua Martin is a Fullsail film school graduate and a freelance editor and production assistant based in Orlando, having worked on several independent features, television shows and film festivals.
